Transnational E-commerce Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15669083, with a registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, United Kingdom.

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you complete the enquiry form, that is: your name; your email address; and the details of your enquiry. Optionally, if you provide them: your company name, phone or WhatsApp number, country or market, and enquiry category.

We also record whether you ticked the privacy confirmation and the optional updates box, together with the time you submitted the form. We keep this as evidence of the basis on which we contacted you, which UK GDPR requires us to be able to demonstrate.

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track your behaviour across other websites or build a profile of you.

To respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — replying to someone who has deliberately contacted us about our services — and, where your enquiry concerns entering into a contract, taking steps at your request before entering into that contract.

To send you occasional service updates. Only if you tick the optional box. Our lawful basis is your consent, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting anything else.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this website and our email, and only so far as they need it to provide that service to us:

• Our website host, which serves this site and processes form submissions in transit.
• Our email delivery provider, which transmits your enquiry to our inbox, and our email provider, which stores it.

These providers act on our instructions under a written contract. Where they process data outside the UK or European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses, as UK and EU law require.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.

Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted within 24 months of our last contact with you. If we do work together, we keep correspondence for as long as the relationship lasts and then for six years, which is the period we are expected to retain business and tax records in the UK.

If you have consented to updates, we keep your email address until you withdraw that consent.

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data; to have it corrected; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it; and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU. We would appreciate the chance to address it first.

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Transnational E-commerce Ltd who need it in order to reply. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited data we hold.

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be notified to you directly where we can.
